The Insulating Glass Manufacturers Alliance (IGMA) is a North American trade association created as a result of the merger between the Insulating Glass Manufacturers Association of Canada (IGMAC) and the Sealed Insulating Glass Manufacturers Association (SIGMA). IGMA represents the interests of the insulating glass industry in North America and also in the international marketplace.
IGMA draws on the positive synergies of the former associations and has evolved as the consummate technical authority on all aspects of insulating glass manufacturing. A complete and thorough review of both group’s activities and structures was undertaken not only prior to the merger but is an on-going process to ensure that IGMA remains relevant and provides real value-added service to our members.
IGMA is committed to continuously improving our products and services in order that we may meet or exceed the expectations of our members. To assist the Board of Directors and our Technical Committee, IGMA has implemented a Quality Management System and we are ISO 9000:2000 certified.
IGMA operates in two strategic directions; development of technical publications and expertise including leading edge research, education on best practices and providing product certification to the North American insulating glass industry.
New manufacturer and supplier members receive a complimentary copy of the IGMA Technical Binder which includes all current IGMA technical bulletins, reports and technical manuals as well as the complimentary update and new publication service. Associate members must purchase the IGMA Technical Binder but are provided with the complimentary new publication and publication update service.
All members of IGMA receive all the benefits that membership in the Alliance offers, including but not limited to:

The Annual Conference is an excellent forum for manufacturers to network with their fellow manufacturers, suppliers and associates. Additionally, this conference offers timely and relevant Technical Presentations delivered by experts in their field, which are of interest to our membership.
